What we collect: what you type in the form (name/handle if you give one, your email, title, category, place and date, your description) and the file you upload.
Why: so we can review your submission, contact you about it, and credit you if it airs. Your email is also how you prove a submission is yours if you want it withdrawn or deleted.
Who sees it: only the channel owner and the team that reviews submissions. Submissions sit in a private queue — nothing is published automatically, and your file is not public unless it airs in a video.
We do not sell your information or your submissions. Ever.
Withdraw or delete: email send@caughtstrange.com from the same email address you submitted with, tell us which submission it is, and we will delete it from our system and not use it. If it already aired, see the withdrawal note in the Terms.
How long we keep it: submissions that don't air are deleted during periodic clean-outs. Aired material and its submission record may be kept so we can prove permission was given.
